State Sales Tax on Food Items -- March 11, 1997

The following resolution was passed unanimously and then sent to the appropriate parties in the Missouri House and Senate: “The Jewish Community Relations Council recommends the elimination of the 3% state sales tax on food items as set forth in Missouri House Bill 491 and Senate Bill 406.”
