Divestment -- December 4, 1986

It was unanimously agreed that the JCRC would support phased divestment from South African companies and would establish a Divestment Evaluation Committee.  A second resolution was also adopted, stating, “JCRC strongly urges the government of South Africa to permit all citizens the right to emigrate without restrictions of any kind.”
